Curious shot taken by my friend Vinícius Ferarezi (who's agreed with this publication) on the Kiss concert. A katydid (Phaneropterinae?) landed on the MIC hahahaha

Three chalcidoids hand collected from Pistacia lentiscus. A male was attempting to mate with a female that appeared to be inspecting a perforated fruit.
This was one of the wasps that just emerged from these galls I took inside.

Location is extremly approx. Found near Chentapu homestay in Puran Gurung. Having a hard time locating on map. Species were seen between ~1850m at the home stay, and 2300m on a walk the homestay owner took me on above his place.
ant scavenging a dead spotted lanternfly. it tried to pull it by one of its legs but didn't get it anywhere, and went back to scavenging inside it.
found in the wild, but i wonder if this could have been a released (intentionally/accidentally) P. laevis? This was under a piece of wood among a lot of T. rathkii and trichoniscids, and there were maybe 2 or 3 of individuals like this. very odd!
Observed ovipositing on this area (gall?, egg sac?) on a Summer Grape (Vitis aestivalis) leaf. Approx. 2mm.
Reared from infected hag moth cat. Here is link to observation of the infected cat. https://www.inaturalist.org/observations/101976454

The Guam Plant Inspection Station brought me a mealybug intercepted on the leaf of an orchid or palm imported from Hawaii (host plant was not specified clearly on the interception record). The mealybug was parasitized. It contained a dead, teneral hymenopterous parasitoid with large red compound eyes and a bright blue colored head.
Both images made with a Lieca EZ4HD at lowest zoom level.

Not sure what this is. I didn't see it when I took the photo of this Keeled Treehopper with its eggs (see second photo). I imagine it might be a parasitic wasp.
2mm. It held itself mostly in a v shape, head and abdomen high with wings held up!
