Spore print deep purplish brown. A comparison pic is included. On the left is psilocybe ovoideocystidiata. On the right is Galerina marginata. Found on a floodplain singly with galerina marginata nearby. No doubt this is just the first of the season. The telltale signs are unmistakable.
Bluish green shiny appearance after bruising. Found solitary growing from a stick buried in sandy silt in a creek floodplain. u beleive it to be Psilocybe ovoideocystidiata, which Ive found recently within 20 feet of this specimen. I noticed it was unusually sturdy and white when i picked it. The sturdiness remains, but the stem has bruises all over. The veil is about to break.
