Have a very nice color, and had a lot of insects surrounding them.

I am pretty sure these are Blue Mistflowers. Found in Brushy Creek Greenbelt, located full sun exposure right next to a small river. The plants were not tall but really spread out, many small purple flowers, and many insect were feeding on them at the time.
