I flushed a Turkey Vulture off of this nest one weekend. It was located at the crest of a small bluff at the base of a Pecan tree, surrounded by a dense plum thicket. I think the nest was predated later by raccoons.

Fox was in a secluded corner of the prairie dog colony, dining on half a prairie dog. He sized me up, carried his meal a short distance, and went back about his business.

I observed a Swift Fox (Vulpes velox) run across the road and go into a den site around 35 minutes after sunset.
