Description: This is a water bird which is medium sized, about 30 centimeters in length, and their wingspan is around 46 inches. It’s body is shaped like a teardrop, It has a long curved neck and a long tail as well, and a long hooked beak which is a common feature of the cormorant birds or shags. The coloration is black feathers all around the body, black feet and wings, and a little orange on the face, but the beak is a grayish color. The Cormorant is in class Aves because it has feathers, a feature that’s only this class has.
The habitat in which this organism was found was a small lake in Winter Garden, an aquatic, freshwater habitat. It was in the middle of a suburban area, and this lake was surrounded by trees and had predators such as gators around the area as well. The organism breeds in colonies non coasts and build their nests in trees or on the ground.

Visual Description: Three plants with mottled light and dark green leaves arranged in a circular pattern. There were around four leaves per plant. One of the plants had a pale green stem.
Habitat: Growing in dead leaves in the forest undergrowth in Tampa Florida. Plant is native to Africa, and has been introduced to South and Central America and Florida. Found in shady forest floors in the rainforest, in rocky areas near the sea, or growing on savannah trees.
