Widespread in area. Always on deadwood.
A conk growing on a Salix sp. Has a white sporulating surface that quickly stains brown when touched. Pictures show, the conk, a close up of the conk, the sporulating surface of the conk with a mark showing staining, and the host plant.
Single fruiting body growing amongst moss.
Growing in multipe areas in these woods
Only observed one small cluster.
