found on a bit of fallen hardwood bark. given the distinctive soralia, I think it must be Punctelia caseana, with a rather scrungly/partially broken-off thallus. im not sure if any other interpretation fits. the lower surface fits the genus, and the white dot-like pseudocyphellae aren't conspicuous, but i think are present
Possible- lvs ligulate, apices intact; stems not pinnate. On vertical face of calcareous boulder.
