Moonless night, with a slight breeze which facilitated an adjustment to the white sheet.

Insects observed on 8/2/2021, at night, using UV lighting. Observations took place from dusk (approximately 8 pm) until 10:00 pm. The weather was cooler and less humid. Insect attraction was modest.

Moonless night, calm, low humidity, cooler temperatures. Observed from dusk until approximately 10:30 pm.

Mid-morning survey, warm, sunny. Surveyed all life along the creek bank.

Observed & photographed flowers and pollinators for over an hour, during the heat of the day (just after noon). Our afternoon was rain shortened, yet very productive.

Observed and photographed plants, insects and birds over a 5 hour period beginning around 7 am.
