I have been fascinated by jumping spiders (Salticidae) since 1971 — I draw them, photograph them, and publish scientific papers about them. My primary research interest is their taxonomy and systematics. I've done many research expeditions throughout the the world to study salticids. I'm now a professor at the University of British Columbia.
