I have lived some 40 years on the Far South Coast NSW where, prior to recent retirement, I practiced as a botanical consultant, advising Councils, National Parks Service, community groups and private landholders. My focus has been primarily upon coastal vegetation and especially the impact of weed invasions. I advocated for and initiated a successful and still-continuing project wherein local Koori folk undertake weed control and litter removal along Far South Coast beaches.
