I am a recently graduated Master's student at Humboldt State University who studies the Coastal Tailed Frogs in the Trinity Alps. Now starting a PhD at Southern Illinois University on the herpetofauna of the Cache River. I love all taxa but have a soft spot for herpetiles, plants, and fossils. In being a naturalist I hope to keep my connection with nature close by really understanding my sense of place via the animals and plants around me. I hope that my passion as a naturalist will help in the preservation of the nature that has taught me so much.
