I am a sucker for native wildflowers, from the big showy mule's ears to the tiny things like florets on grasses. China Camp and Mt. Tam are my favorite playgrounds, and grasslands, oak savannas and chaparral are among my many favorite habitats. I'm currently working to improve my identification of lupines and grasses. I'm a beginner-level birder.

I have a master's in rangeland ecology with experience in grassland research, and I have professional experience in habitat restoration, community stewardship, and native plant nursery management. Currently, I am the outreach manager for One Tam.
