I am a zoologist with broad interests and a fascination for all biodiversity. Although I have some focus on birds and insects, I don't have any deeper specialist knowledge on taxonomic groups. Trying to help with id however where I can and would feel safe enough with it. My regions of main activities are central Europe (where I live in Switzerland) and also to a lesser extent southern Asia where I mostly travel. I am also a keen photographer and, as major part of my profession, freelance journalist/writer on topics around nature.
