I've been a naturalist many years. I really enjoy all aspects of natural history but my heart belongs to botany. I earned a MS at the University of Georgia in Plant Biology studying toxic plants and have worked for the Chicago Botanic Garden and the University of Georgia in informal science education.

In my professional life, I really enjoy helping people make connections to the natural world around them. In my personal like, I love to spend time with my family exploring new places.
