Spending my childhood exploring the woods and rivers of W. Virginia, Maryland, and Virginia left me hopelessly in love with native habitats. I currently live about 5 miles from the ocean on the North Fork of the Nehalem River Valley. I think INaturalist will help in learning and documenting all kinds of new flying, crawling, and growing animals and plants.
