I graduated from Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute in 2019 with a Bachelor’s degree in Biology where I researched spatial and temporal distribution of cyanophage in Lake George. I am currently a Ph.D. student at the University of Vermont under the advisement of Dr. Mindy Morales and Dr. Breck Bowden. My current research focuses on the impacts of forest succession and habitat heterogeneity on stream microbial biodiversity and function, specifically diatom assemblages.
