Hi there! I’m a Georgia-based science writer with a focus on paleontology.

I have a BSc in Biology from St. Petersburg State University. I specialized in the Department of Vertebrate Zoology, where I studied dinosaur paleohistology.

I’m interested not only in extinct organisms, but also in extant ones, especially insects and parasites.

Here I post observations made in Russia (south of the West Siberian Plain, St. Petersburg and its environs, the Caucasus), and soon I’ll post observations made in Georgia.
