Never lose your childhood curiosity and wonder

I distinctly remember my first experience of rainforest when, at the age of 10 or so, we had a family outing to Minnamurra Falls in the warm temperate rainforest of Budderoo National Park, NSW. Growing up in the inner suburbs of Sydney, this was an entirely new world to me and I have had a passion for these wet forests ever since. I now live in the city of Cairns in Far North Queensland, surrounded by tropical rainforest within easy reach.

I also do a lot of work on Wikipedia, creating or improving articles that relate to the flora of Queensland's Wet Tropics rainforest. On my Wikipedia profile you can find links to the articles I've created and images I've uploaded.
