Bay Area happy hour, 6pm Friday August 23 at Lost & Found in Oakland
Hey all, just a reminder for anyone reading here that we'll be grabbing drinks at Lost & Found Beer Garden at Telegraph & 21st in Oakland (note that this is not the cocktail lounge in SF and not some kind of clothing store in downtown Oakland) this Friday at 6pm.

Uh oh. Über alles in der Welt? Thin line we are walking. But if anything is going to take over the world it would be fungi.
Uhhhhohhh, I thought they were still using the old pre-wars version of the anthem but maybe Wikipedia led me astray! Anyway we're definitely completely covered in spores at all times.
I'm out of town that night but keep me posted for the next ones.

Since there was some mention of unwanted attention from creepers on Meetup, I thought I'd mention that Meetup does publish an iCal / Google Calendar feed that folks can use to keep up with these events without publicly disclosing anything on Meetup: https://www.meetup.com/iNaturalist-Happy-Hour-SF-East-Bay/events/ical/
Also, if this is a repeat problem on Meetup, we can get more restrictive about who has access to that group. I was hoping that wouldn't be necessary since I'd be happy for curious non-iNat folks to show up and learn about iNat, but I also don't want anyone to have to deal with humanity's grossness just so we can grab a few beers.
