Mallacoota Fires

I visited Mallacoota at the end of October and recorded many observations along the Captain's Creek Fire Trail just near Karbethong Road. I was staying in the Karbethong area and recorded more observations at my holiday house. It now seems as though the fires have been close to and possibly through this area. Under these circumstances will my observations be useful to naturalists, environmentalists or researchers?

I am thinking I will go back in autumn once things have settled down and take more observations in the same locations.
