I am an MSc student at the FitzPatrick Institute of African Ornithology, at the University of Cape Town, South Africa, studying brood parasitism in honeyguides with the www.AfricanCuckoos.com research group.

I am also a tour leader for Birding Africa (www.birdingafrica.com).

As a naturalist, I am most confident with southern African birds, but am in the process of learning butterflies, Odonata, orchids, and Iridaceae, as well as birds throughout the world.
