I'm a doctor of biology with a general interest in nature, now living in Rostock.
Professionally I worked on the development and adult morphology of the copulatory organs of the spider Parasteatoda tepidariorum. For this I use multimodal imaging techiques including phase contrast µCT, Confocal Laser Scanning Microscopy combined with bleaching and clearing techiques, semi-thin section series, TEM and Serial Block Face Scanning Electron Microscopy to investigate specimen in 3D and ultraresolution.
