I love seaweeds. My PhD focused on taxonomy and systematics of red algae, specifically the Kallymeniaceae. I am faculty in the Botany department at the University of British Columbia and my favourite courses to teach involve algae. I am co-author of the field guide, Pacific Seaweeds, with Louis Druehl.
