I have always loved wildflowers. We moved to the Reno area in 2016 and I immediately started to explore my local area focusing on native plants. I joined the Nevada Native Plant Society and have been on several field trips with them. The friends I have made through the society are a great source of information about places to visit and can help with identifications!
I have always enjoyed my feeder / garden birds and have started looking more closely at the birds in our urban ponds and local parks. Waterfowl are so much easier than the little birds in bushes!
