I work at the Weedon Island Preserve Cultural and Natural History Center. The preserve is full of good bugs. Don't miss the saw palmetto bloom in April and dotted horsemint bloom Aug - Oct. to see fab selection of wasps and bees. And we have some amazing non-aggressive nesting aggregations of Horse Guard Wasps, Jamaican Digger Wasps on Lookout Trail, Great Golden Digger Wasps near the Center and of course the scoliid wasp aggregations in many areas.
