My primary area of interest is the ecology, taxonomy, and biology of freshwater fishes from Africa and eastern North America. I also have a passing interest in marine life (fishes and otherwise), entomology, ornithology, and freshwater wetland botany, but my knowledge of everything other than freshwater ichthyology is rather cursory.
