It is a great gift to meet my natural relations in this landscape of Wantastegok (an Abenaki placename for the Brattleboro confluence of the West and Connecticut Rivers) and to learn their stories. I am honored to share my encounters, whether with an old friend or a brand-new acquaintance, and help to rediscover and further the connections that make us all a part of the same.
