Gang Gangs of particular interest since 2019/2020 fires numbers have declined but Jervis Bay is lucky enough to have a small population. A pair are showing suggestive nesting behaviour on a block of land due to be cleared. The community is monitoring them and successfully delaying clearing by sending photographic evidence to support data collected.
Other interest is the Endangered Shorebird Recovery Program of which I have been a volunteer for 10years plus.
