Avid outdoorsman who has always loved reptiles & amphibians, especially snakes. I grew up in Maryland but now live in Tucson, AZ. I love kayaking, camping, photography, aviation and anything that gets me off the beaten path and into the natural world around us.
I studied general biology as an undergrad, then turned to molecular bio/pharmacology for grad school.
I still get as giddy at the sight of a uncommon snake today as I did when I was a kid :)
