Native Texan born in Waco, spent most of my adult working life traveling outside the country. Additionally I've lived and worked on both coasts. Returned to Texas for good in 1998 and retired in 2012. I now spend most my time traveling around the state birding. I've just recently gotten into photography so in addition to birds I'm trying to hone my skills on Odes and Leps. I hope to add some overall knowledge to South Texas avifauna particularly San Patricio county.
