Hi, I'm a naturalist and researcher at the Botanical Research Institute of Texas in the Fort Worth Botanic Gardens.

I'm currently working on a USFWS grant for Eriocaulon koernickianum and helping support the BRIT Seed Lab and a TPWD rare plant monitoring project. When I'm not in the field or plugging away at project stuff I'm wrangling data and specimens for a couple of projets for Flora of the Philippines and Vaccinium sect. Cyanococcus in North America, working on a backlog of specimen image processing for the Herbarium, learning to code and write grants, and generally soaking up as much knowledge and experience as I can to become better at what I do. I also enjoy helping interns and volunteers learn the ropes of some of what we do in both Conservation and the Herbarium.
