I am a carnivore ecologist, faculty at the University of Illinois and Illinois Natural History Survey, and curator of the INHS and UICU mammal collections. My research primarily focuses on using camera trapping to understand solitary carnivores and ecological interactions, and I am currently working on felid conservation projects on four continents. In addition to research, I enjoy long-distance running, exploring wild places, and using photography to connect with wildlife.
