A nest in the palms

One of the coolest Hawks out there is the Harris’s Hawk is a medium to large bird of prey they are classified In order accipitriformes this includes most of the birds of prey such as hawks, eagles, vultures, and kites. family accipitridae are characterized by rounded wings, long legs, and a strong hooked bill. These birds, like many other hawks, feed on medium-sized mammals such as hares, rabbits, squirrels, and other rodents but their hunting method is peculiar, they are known for hunting in pack forming groups from 2 up to 9 each bird plays a role in the hunt. This particular pair of birds were observed gathering nest materials and transporting them to the palm where they were building the nest although I was not able to observe them hunting it still fills me up with joy to have been able to find some.
