This Limosella lineata is suffering badly from a fungal growth First and only place I've noted this, it is quite specific to the mudwort, no other surrounding plants were afflicted.

Total guess at the class of animal this little green number is. They move with surprising rapidity through the water, no visible legs or means of propulsion. Speed perhaps 100mm/second? Dozens of them in this dune wetland. Size ca. 2mm.

Berries in full ripeness. 2nd photo is a katipo in the same plant complex. I've looked at hundreds of clumps of sand daphne this summer, this is the only time I've seen the berries like this.

For sure a S.lepida female, I think the smaller one on the piece of shell is a S.lepida male.
The visible eggsac is a katipo eggsac, there's another inside the sandy web.
The next week, (Jan 15) this S.lepida pair had moved on.
