An amazing find. Its uniqueness lies in the fact that this female is found collecting salt (NaCl), on garbage from the head of fish. Someone threw fish heads in the trash. The fish was pre-salted. On this rotting (but still fresh - no more than 24h) fish. Among the flies was this bee, obviously collecting something from the scales. Most likely the bee was collecting salt. This behavior of bees has been described and previously noted by me in Russia in Apis mellifera bees.
