Eastern Starflower (Trientalis borealis borealis), Anoka County, Minnesota
This obs is for the white fungus growing on the Apiosporina morbosa galls.
I'm hoping I'll be able to provide take some micrographs soon, but I don't know how useful they'll be given I don't know what I'm doing.

Insect Gall - Please check second picture. In order to determine what plant this gall was on, I photographed what I thought was the overwintered seed heads (on this same plant). But on second thought, I wondered if they were another type of insect gall. I would love opinions.
