More firm and held its shape, unlike a slime mold. The stalks don’t seem thin enough to be typhula and was on a branch and not a maple stem . I’m very unsure!

Zoom in for details, more white slime mold seemed to be more dried out and in more exposed areas, while the more erect fingers were in damper areas of the log

Some of the mold turning an almost chalky yellow, but continuing to grow in bright yellow patches. Also the normal (white) variety also popped up in places on the log

(Not actually pink! My camera kept making it that way but irl is cream/ white / brownish color ) Found on underside of deciduous log. Very moist, had water droplets all over it (despite the recent lack of rain), and when squeezed released water. It was also slightly squishy to the touch, and bruised brown
