7100' elevation. Caterpillar that was feeding on the flowers of Sulphur Buckwheat (Eriogonum umbellatum) was reared to Butterfly. Caterpillars were in perfect sync to the blooming and waning of the flowers.

Can't tell what this is. INat suggests a sylvan hairstreak but it is lacking any orange underwing markings. Worn? Or perhaps something from the Spring Azure complex?

All three photos of the same individual. Although I did not find the ova, it appeared to be ovipositing in the moss and crevices on the bark near the base of this tree.

HEY we identified this as a tiger moth previously(and I have posted its caterpillar form as well) but I’m not sure that’s right when I check up on tiger moths! Let me know your thoughts.
