Many Thanks to the birding enthusiasts in Portal and Paradise, Arizona that helped us find and photograph this Owl especially when we couldn't find it the day before (we were looking way too high up in the tree canopy). This was a Lifer Bird for both Karla and I ! ! !

Elf Owl nest in sycamore tree at private residence in Portal, Arizona. Saw adult Elf Owl enter hole but I wasn't quick enough to get a photo. I was able to photograph one of the parent Elf Owls two days later after Sunset; that photo can be viewed at www.inaturalist.org/observations/148864355

Doe with twin fawns looking through our backyard fence, probably smelling some of the fermenting peaches that had fallen onto the ground. Our next door neighbor took the photo and sent it to us. Afterwards, we picked up any fallen tree fruits and placed them outside the fence to be "utilized by others".
