At Brazos Bend State Park (well off the trail, and during an approved university field trip). S/he didn't move a muscle the whole time we hung around taking pictures -- probably half an hour. Temperature was probably in the 60's or so.

The "orange-striped" is a guess, but that top stripe does look significantly oranger than the rest. Anyone who can help me out is welcome to; I'm just Googling!

I hate to leave this so vague. I could make a reasonable guess, but it would be so easy to get the order wrong due to inexperience if it's something closely-related but more obscure than I found on Google. :/
