Semi-abundant on bare mud of Bonelli Park's Tree Line Trail, but hairless Riccia appeared far commoner there. Note that only the last 4 pics were taken in situ; pic 1's soil is not its original soil.
As of 12/13 the specimen in pic 1 is growing well in culture (soil chemistry: presumably calcareous).
