描述
Large, predatory katydid. After I tried to interact with it, it adopted a stance with its mandibles wide open as if to threaten (seen in the third image). When I tried to pick it up between thumb and forefinger from behind, the katydid could somehow deftly turn itself around within my grip to bite me, which was rather impressive. It was a painful bite, too, which would surely have drawn blood if I let it stay for more than a few seconds.
