Taken on Hill Country Conservancy's Pecan Springs Karst Preserve in Williamson County. I was fortunate to be able to see this newly acquired preserve with Rich Kostecke this morning, to get a little familiar with the place for leading an upcoming bird walk. It was amazing to see three flowing springs on the property, and knowing they will be protected from now on.
