鯖鯊目 (目 Lamniformes)觀察者

Saw large shark swimming slowly at surface. Approximately 3 to 5 m. Swam in circles but in a direction (corkscrew pattern). Observed for ~15 min. Water depth at place of observation was ~100 ft.

Pod of 3 orca including baby/adolescent passed by point previous evening then this guy was seen morning at next low tide, being eaten by bald eagle. Very fresh.

@muir check out the location of this observation. No idea how a moose made it out here. Miles from any food or shelter. Travel here for humans requires crampons, ropes, ice axes and LOTS of technical procedures. I cannot imagine a moose making it out there but obviously one did. Unless the moose sign flowed down on top/in the ice from up in the snow fields. In that case the sign would be extremely old I think. Flow is about 1" per day and this is 10+ miles from any type of non-technical terrain.

Not stuck to the rock. It was found sitting amongst the rocks in the surf. It’s slightly jiggly and although soft on the outside it feels firm at about 1/4 inch. It “feels” like if I were to push my finger in it would collapse a bit and not rebound.
