"An insect made in the 80s" according to one member of our party. Despite spending some time trying to get the exposure right to capture the glow and the animal, I still failed to get the head in focus. Oi.

Came upon this lizard while doing a bird survey. It was on a trail and looked like it had been in an altercation or had been run over or stepped on. It had blood on one side of it's face like it had shot at something.

This morning, I went more towards north Fort Worth -- I don't spend too much time up there. I spent a little bit of time at Buffalo Ridge Park -- this park had a really nice trail next to Big Fossil Creek. Spotted some neat things today. :)
