A lone male. I came across him as the evening light was going, and he spent the rest of the photographable light preening on a rock with his back to me.

Two individuals going up and down this section of river. It was amazing watching them fighting with the currents!

We saw three individuals in the river (however, we only managed to photograph two)

Bands are ??-JadeYellow. Maybe a grey on left. Refer last photo.

Loud calls and whistles led to a scramble down a bank and seeing four unbanded birds. It was hard to narrow down the 150+ pictures I took!

Equipment: Nikon D300s with Sigma 150-500mm OS lens

There is a family of 4, a pair of adults and 2 chicks. Earlier there were 4 chicks, but 2 have been lost to predators.
