Pink legs unlike the Greater White-froned Geese it is with..Large amount of white in the facial area.
A local Greene County resident (Sharon F.) posted these photos on a Facebook group page (not my photos). Currently, there are no other reports of Fishers in Greene County and wanted to document their findings. I’ve messaged them on Facebook to get a better location. Resident stated this was is Waynesburg Borough. Kinda of shocking that this very unique/rare animal was in downtown Waynesburg instead of in its natural environment.
Incredible experience with this Mink. She was moving her babies from one den to another. When I arrived, I was told she had already moved 2. I saw her move 2 more.
Not sure why she was doing this, but guessing her den was disturbed somehow. It is right next to a place where fishermen sit, but not sure if it was that or another animal that got up in there.
Such interesting behavior to see!
Seen minutes before attending a mushroom thing (don't ask) "huh that looks cool". WTF MARINE BLUE!!! Casual state record, light work
Lifer! Thanks to Zealon for the location. Very cooperative and allowed for close approach for amazing macros! Second photo is from when we first noticed our first Gemmed Satyr.
