This Double-crested Cormorant was is a group of 10-15 that were feeding but dispersed as we approached the observation pier.

This Northwestern Cow was foraging up and down the beach. The call it made was more of a growl than the caw that an American Crow makes.

A quail appeared on a road I was surveying for plant species, after some walking and searching in the road a few little babies came out from the brush on the side of the road to join the adult.
