Seen climbing through branches. It stayed there for a couple minutes, then went back into the ground shrubbery. It was about 3 meters from the trails edge.
Found on North facing slope under the shade of Torrey Pines. About a half meter off the trail. Each leaf was about 25 centimeters long.

This hydroid could be observed growing on many bean clams. The appendages of this organism could be seen sticking out from the wet sand of the intertidal sandy beach.
Found along the beach in wet sand around a lot of other beanclams. The opening portion was in the sand and it had a white and gray color.
A common mustard plant, this annual plant grows in clumps along the sandy beach and was found around 70 meters from the sandy beach coastline and was one of the few herbaceous plants on the sandy beach.
kelp flies by the wrack and forms of kelp on the dry sand close to the top bluff by the houses ... look very similar to common house fly
seen walking and running along the shore line near the water. Has a long skinny beak and long legs. Has a brownish backside and a white underside.
