Bird on the left.
Either Grey-backed, Sooty, or Bridled Tern (thank you @maractwin )
Almost reminded me of a frigatebird but hard to tell. It was near a gannet and a feeding colony of gulls. Maybe osprey? Unfortunately wasn't quick enough with the binos.
Trust me...
I spotted this quokka at the edge of a clearing, difficult to see in the dim headlamp light but very clearly a small macropod with a relatively short face. Shortly after it hopped off into the brush and disappeared - much slower hops than the rapid movements of the Quendas I had seen earlier. Unfortunately, my autofocus decided it hated me
A vagrant to the region. It was browner than the Bar-tailed Godwits. In flight clear white rump and black tail. Very visible.
